An Ode to A Horrible Man

a little bit of an explanation for this next poem. The man who inspired this is the most conceited, mean spirited, narcissistic scum to ever blight existence. this man is also a professor, hes also the head of Psychology, and finally he's a cock. for some reason, however I respect his wretchedness, here's to you King Cock Bag

Knowledge fiened,
to you is no different,
then knowledge gained.

You magnificent god,
you rest in the girth of omnipotence,
you pity us poor wretched souls,
when we wail questions,
you will answer in your mighty bellow,
and we will turn deaf to the common fellow.

oh lament,
us poor beast,
when all is lost,
we will not miss much,
why cry for nothing?

oh lament,
we apes,
we lack the intelligence,
we must be beaten,
with education,
stoned with dates and names.

thank you,
kind teacher,
you give unto us,
knowledge fruitful,
knowledge we would not have found,
knowledge to lead us,
knowledge to gag us,
knowledge to leave us bound!

My Funk, and A Tree Girl

As I promised, here is a nude. after hours of frustrated sleep, thought, and what seems like monotonous motions, I have finally created this. not my best work. but I'm hitting a dry spell in my artistic work. I need some time to recover. I'm not used to not being able to think up things to draw. usually my mind seeps with ideas. the upshot of this all is that my writing has increased and I'm doing a lot more short stories and poems. Hopefully Ill just fall out of this funk. In the meantime I got a short story, and an poem on the way.

My Day, A Poem, and Between the Stars

My day... I guess it could be best described in a poem I suppose...

Light,
the ever present,
with a start I awaken,
never present,
a stranger to myself,
present.

The green haze passed beyond teeth,
into dimensions unknown,
The hours passed by retina,
into colors unknown,
my psychosis is acquired,
by herbs most know.

The ride subsides,
I'm coming down,
my inspirations rides out,
I'm falling down,
The fight erupts,
Settle down.

that was pretty much my week. I spent most of it in a haze of Ganj and Tylenol. For some reason, I survived the end of the week and also I have some nude drawings coming up. (their not of me in case your wondering). any ways if deciphering my horrible poetry doesn't keep you busy I found this video that describes my life in about 5 minutes.

Portriats of the Mundane: Sergio Florez Rangel

Sergio is more an Image than a man. To his car club, and his friends he is Ghost Rida, to his children he is a wonderful Dad, Yet to himself he is unknown. Being incredibly hard working and intelligent, Sergio is a one of those rough hewn intellectuals you once read about in high school. His Philosophy manifesting itself through his tireless work for little to no pay. his beliefs are painted in his hard work and scribed by his aching muscles. He is a Hemingway, a Thorea, a Shakespeare in his own right. His greatness isnt measured by his meager accomplishments. instead his greatness is measured in the love he has, for his work, his family, his friends, and even strangers. Sergio's image of a Hard man are paralleled by his heart which has more love in it than I have seen in any others.

Daymares, Books, and Ah Pook for Ah Pooks sake

I had a midterm I didn't study for today. I cant help but feel that my life is turning into those really awkward situational nightmares. I keep expecting to Find myself in McDonald's ordering a taco, and pizza while I'm naked. I hope I haven't done that already. anyways... I think I did pretty well on it. I'm not sure. I don't really care if I did or didn't. Its not really gonna make or break me (self esteem wise anyways).

I just bought some books Portraits of Ideas, Lao Tsu and Wu Wei, and The Devil. the first one has what i like to think of as short odes to the greatness of some of the most influential thinkers in western culture, my only drawback of the book is there is no women, no people of color and no one still alive in this book. I would love if someone where to do this on a much smaller scale. so I decided to start a new monthly feature to my blog Portraits of the Mundane I'm gonna highlight the lives, the ideas, and beliefs of the people living in my area.

the second book is about Taoism. I haven cracked it yet, but i have always tried to maintain a sense of PU (state of being Unchanged by the forces of authority) otherwise known as the uncarved block. I did a lot of research into the Taoist philosophy and find that I really like it.

The last book is about the devil obviously. Its a collection of short stories meant to illustrate his many forms and functions in the world. I think we all have a little essence of evil in all of us. I went a step ahead of the lot of most of you and named mine. I call him M(short for Mephistopheles). anyways I like reading things of this nature and now I just got a new book on my wish list so if anybody has an extra copy of this next book just lying around I'll be glad to take it off your hands. its called My Idea of fun by Will Self. well I'm afraid I have to delve back into the odd lucid dream that I call life, so Ill leave you with this

its called Ah Pook the narration is William S. Burroughs

Bambi Remade

Bambi the classic coming of age story. Set in the back drop of some great forest, the pure thought of a remake is enough to make ones eyes explode out of the back of ones skull out of pure unadulterated rage, yet there is something special about this remake. If you don't have a sick sick sick, and possibly remedial sense of humor just skip over this post if not this is just for you. This might be a little old but in case you haven't seen it check it out.

My Day/ Favorite Words

today, today came and went, It passed like all things, to tell you the truth I got a lot done. I got a lot of things that didn't need to get done, done. I'm not sure if today was a win or a loss? I'm not sure if I care. I just kicked off and revamped this blog after what seems like an eternity of procrastination. I rediscovered a song long lost to the evils of drug idled memory, and I diagnosed my muse with a sty. I found my newest favorite words and I decided to list them before you and challenge you to find your own top ten favorite words.

  1. Tome
  2. Epitome
  3. Disciple
  4. Anemia
  5. Xylem
  6. Caustic
  7. Mammalian
  8. Repository
  9. Nemesis
  10. deface
for some reason I get the biggest kick out of saying these words, maybe i have a linguistic fetish or something. who know?

Greetings once again, or not?

Hello for those of you who do not know I am the MaddMan Lunchbox and it has been a while since I have posted. for those who are knew to this, this blog is more or less, a form of Psychograffiti. all those word i post along with the pretty pictures are meant to burn deep into your retina, and seep into your subconscious, and forever be part of your mental geography. and if it can do that then the least it can do is make you laugh, entertain you, or make you question what kind of sad little man ordains himself the title of an royal insane food container. and if it cant do any of that then well why are you reading this?
